West London Postgraduate Medical School (WLPMS) is a not-for-profit organisation based at Ealing Hospital, London, UK.

WLPMS interfaces between UK universities and hospitals and is the sole service provider for all the MD programmes at the University of Buckingham.

A two year Clinical MD in General Internal Medicine was started in May 2008 for doctors who applied to enrol with the University of Buckingham.  There are three intakes each year in January, May and September on an on-going basis..

A 3 year Clinical MD programme has been launched and is currently recruiting.

In addition, another Research plus Clinical MD has been launched and is also currently recruiting.  The first year of this programme is pure research leading to the award of MSc in Medical Research followed by 2 year Clinical MD.

All three MD programmes have three entry points each year.

WLPMS plans to start postgraduate courses exclusively in individual  medical sub-specialities and surgical specialties in the  future.

Please note that WLPMS is not a university in itself.  WLPMS is simply an organisation of interested senior consultants that interlinks students, universities and hospitals.  WLPMS functions to design postgraduate courses and curricula, helps universities obtain accredition for these courses with the Quality Assurance Agency, advertises and recruits candidates worldwide, organises teaching, training and examinations and helps in providing accommodation for the candidates.  WLPMS does NOT enrol or register candidates with it, does NOT grant the degree award to successful candidates and does NOT accept tuition fees.  The candidates are always registered with the respective university and the degree award will be granted by the university.  WLPMS is in every sense, a service provider.
